Over twenty years, ago Patrick Bodmer and Philipp Jung met each other and became best friends. They both started to work on their music career separately but never lost sight of another. In 2001, they reunited in Frankfurt, formed the mandy. outfit and got noticed by DJ T and Patrik (The Sunsetpeople) from Frankfurt's Monza club. mandy. started as residents for the Monza club and have done so since then. A year later, they started talking about launching a label and five friends, Dj T, mandy., Walter Merziger & Arno Kammermeier (Booka Shade) started Get Physical.

Men of the moment mandy. have been selected for the second installment in young yet highly succesful 'The Controls series by Resist Music, to be released on 23 October. As the first edition by James Holden received many plaudits and topped international charts for weeks, perhaps because it offered such a 'quaquaversal' and daring blend of various sub-styles within the realm of electronica, the stakes are high for M.AN.D.Y. , despite their rock solid reputation.

Following on from the inaugural 'At The Controls' compilation which was mixed and compiled by James Holden at the start of 2006, the next volume in this new series from Resist Music ventures across to Berlin, Germany, where the duo of Patrick Bodmer & Philipp Jung co-run the highly successful Get Physical imprint with friends and fellow musicians Booka Shade and DJ T. Whilst the duo's work as mandy needs no introduction, their 'At The Controls' mix looks set to be one of their best yet.

German quality outfit mandy are to hit Dutch shores again, as they are set to perform in Amsterdam. The two gentlemen, Philip Jung en Patrick Bodmer hail from Berlin, and are probably having the time of their life, as their sound is undoubtedly among the hottest of the moment.
