Nathan Fake on the up

Nathan Fake is one of those artists that continues to flourish. Last week the Border Community DJ/producer made his return to the Lowlands to perform for the Full Spectrum organisation and it seems word is spreading of his unique live show that is set to take him far and wide. With an ear for the sublime, Fake is carving a niche out for himself with unique productions that are as subtle as they are danceable.

Border Community starts a new night at The End

James Holden will be holding regular label parties for his Border Community imprint at The End from Saturday 12 May. And the first night's guests look like a 'who's who' of forward-thinking dance music: Holden himself plays alongside Nathan Fake, Dominik Eulberg and Kieran Hebden (aka Four Tet).

Nathan Fake goes Dutch

UK-based Nathan Fake is about to perform at two events in the Netherlands in December and January. The prodigious youngster will be playing at Paard van Troje in The Hague in December and at a Full Spectrum clubnight featuring himself as headliner.

Holden - The Idiots Are Winning

Three years after forming the Border Community label and launching the label with his highly successful single 'A Break In The Clouds', James Holden now returns to the fold with a collection of tracks entitled 'The Idiots Are Winning'. In a year that has seen releases come from Petter, Lazy Fat People and an artist album from Nathan Fake, 2006 has unquestionably been the label's biggest yet, and 'The Idiots Are Winning' will be the perfect bookend to the year for Holden and Border Commmunity fans alike.
