Lake of Stars Festival launch party at Fabric

The Lake of Stars Festival is an annual fund-raising event that takes place on the shores of Lake Malawi. Since 2004, Will Jameson (of Liverpool club Chibuku Shake Shake) has organised the event, which aims to bring tourism and investment to Malawi by highlighting the place as a festival destination. But this is no Live Aid style media junket. Instead, it's three days of partying with artists like Gilles Peterson, Annie Mac and Rob Da Bank playing alongside African acts instead of just posturing about unity.
