(London, UK) - Sir Norman Jay's Shake & Fingeropop parties (named after the classic soul track by Junior Walker & the All-Stars) are the stuff of old school legend. They were some of the first to combine classic urban soul tunes from the 70s and 80s with house music. This resulted in a unique warehouse party experience that pre-dated the rave scene - and indeed, laid the foundations for it - on the London scene, and to a certain extent, all over the UK.

Norman Jay bought the Good Times bus and a crate of funky house and disco to Carnival once again for the biggest street party in Europe. Hundreds of thousands turn out to watch the floats and get their groove on in the west London sunshine. Meanwhille Leeds played host to the party in the North and 1Xtra were their to bring the highlights
