(New York City, USA) - Steve Porter returns to New York City on Saturday, June 30th to celebrate his official NYC Porterhouse Volume 2 album release party alongside Eli Wilkie and Bons at Sullivan Room. A new entry to DJ Mag's Top 100 (#91), DJ Mag had this to say, “(Steve) Porter keeps it on a high by carving out the juiciest chunks to savour, thus creating his own extremely tasty brand of house that is totally accessible yet effortlessly cool.” If the excitement of a CD release party wasn't enough, Steve Porter will also be celebrating his birthday on this night.

Aged 16 years old, Steve made hia choice to delve into electronic music. Riding the waves of disco, hard, and funky club house Steve Porter has released top quality DJ mix compilations comparable to DJ Dan, and Blow Media's Hatiras. With a seemingly rammed track listing with over 50 tracks on this two disc set, it seems that at times Steve had to be riding three or four tracks due to the lengthy mixes. Hailing from the U.S. Steve has brought together many artists from different realms onto EQ Recording's volume two of Porter House. Steve has also merged some of his own production that stand up to this 57 track banging house CD.

After the first installment of Porterhouse, and his Homegrown studio album, Steve Porter, of of the USA's rising stars, returns with a second Porterhouse mixing compilation. The two disc mix features a lot of Steve's own productions including original tracks and remixes, 14 in total, adding up to the lengthy tracklist, which totals 57, leaving no room for boredom and rendering him one of the fastest mixers within the genre.
