Dean Facer has built up his reputation over the last 17 years. He quickly became a very successful Hard House and Hard Trance DJ throughout Europe and now further a-field, but recently he has changed style and is now concentrating on the tougher edge of House with throbbing tribal beats, tech, acid and a dash of Latin funk.
Dean has also promoted a couple of his own nights that proved to be very successful. Nights such as “United Colors Of House” and the cheekily named “Bash Yer Bishop!” as well as earlier success with “slamm” and “Pure House” (Co-promoted with Radio 1’s Lewis Dene).
Radio is another area that Dean has been involved with frequently, both local and national. Dean currently did regular guest slots on “Saturday Late”- Crmk 89:8 FM and now hosts the hugely popular "United Colors Of House" show on Crmk 89:8FM on Sunday evenings between 20:00-22:00 hrs (UK time) which is then streamed on the United Colors Of House website www.unitedcolorsofhouse.com as well as this he guests on national stations such as Germany’s Kiss FM, Hungary’s FM Czéski, Norway's Radio Pluss, Italy's Klubb 105, Holland's Club Madnezz and Switzerland’s Radio 24.
After a very successful last 7 years DJing throughout Europe Dean now wants to concentrate on building his profile in the UK, USA, Canada, South America, Australia, South Africa and the Far East. Currently being organized is a 20 gig tour of America as well as his European commitments.
Dean has now set up his own record label, United Colors Of House Records with Ian Callaghan, which is based here in England.
As well as his DJing, Dean is now also doing particularly well with all the records that he is producing, such as:
