At only 22 years of age, its hard for James to believe what he has already achieved at such a young age, and it seems things arn't slowing down either. James has been listening to dance music for nearly 10 years, his early influences like bands Prodigy and Underworld, are definately visable in his work, and James' tracks are packed with killer basslines and acid riffs. James purcased his first set of turntables when he was 14 and began practicing his djing, his first gig came a youth club when he was 15, and many gigs at student nights followed. In 2001 James decided to try his hand at production, he purchased a pc with some music software and began learning to create tracks. His first track was signed to nu-Republic records in 2003 and recieved aklaim from the industrys leading DJs including James Zabiela and Sasha.
12 months past and James style of music changed from progressive to acid house, an although James had had some succes with his first single it hadnt seemed to have boosted his music career. It wasnt till a chance meeting with Nic Fanciulli that his career began to sky rocket. James sent Fanciulli some music he had been working on, and Nic instantly signed 3 singles to his forthcoming label Saved Records. Nic instantly saw potentional in James and in a interivew when Nic was asked who the next big thing in dance music was, Nic uttered 3 words "James Talk - Amazing". James' first single for Saved records entitled "Love That Acid" was released in April 2005 with a remix from Paul Woolford. Durring this time agencies and managment started to take a keen look at James, and with some good guidance from Nic he joined 24 Managment and Club Class Management, James was now in the company of names like Buick Project/Sklyark, Paul Woolfrod, Paolo Mojo, Trophy Twins and many other producers and DJs.
Now well into 2005, James has been very busy in the studio. His 2nd single on Saved Records is soon to be released, and he has completed an EP for Pravo Records under his Ri-Tek alias. He's also been busy with remixes, completing reworks for Buick Project, Audio Magnetics, Danny Howells, and Stretch N Vern. He has also been working with Pete Tong in the studio, after Pete heard James' music he contacted him and asked to work together, and the pair have recently completed a remix of Wally Lopez for Pacha Records. More remixes are planned for the coming year. James has also been busy with his DJing too, playing alongside Nic Fanciulli and Desyn Massiello, and more gigs confirmed for 2005 with Meat Katie, Lee Burridge, James Zabiela, and Phil K. James has also been asked to mix the next cd, in the THINKING OUT LOUD series. To be released at the end of 2005.
