Its time to pull out your tunes and lay down your biggest indie rock beats as Carling launches a new DJ search. Carling Cold Cuts DJ gives up and coming DJs the chance to win a place behind the decks at the Carling Cold Beer Amnesty at Rockness Festival or Isle of Wight Festival.

As part of Carling’s Strike Cold Summer, Carling is looking for DJs to submit a mix of up to 15 minutes along with their ten favourite tunes. One DJ will play a one-hour set in Carling’s Cold Beer Amnesty area at Rockness Festival and the other will play Carling’s Cold Beer Amnesty area at Isle of Wight Festival. Both winners plus two mates will also receive weekend VIP tickets so that they can enjoy the full festival experience after their moment in the spotlight.

Rockness 2008 takes place at Dores near Inverness on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June and features the best of rock and electronica including headline sets from Razorlight, Fatboy Slim, The View, and Underworld.

Isle of Wight takes place between 13 to 15 June. The festival voted 'Best Major UK Festival' at the 2007 UK Festival Awards returns with headliners The Police, The Sex Pistols and The Kaiser Chiefs.
